car does not start upon pushing button

all lights work dash etc ,Put foot on brake push start and all you hear is a faint
click and the lights radio dash lights go dim and nothing engine does not turn
over then lights come back just no start

I had this happen a while back in my Nissan Altima..... it was a break pedal sensor. theres a sensor that communicates to your vehicle that your depressing the pedal to turnover and sometimes they go bad early. not the end of the world but its going to cost a few hundred to replace unless its covered by warranty.... mine wasn't and it was a leased vehicle about 2 years in.
This should be covered by the Mercedes warranty
