2019 S560 - quietest features

I am trying to order the quietest 2019 s560
possible. All things being equal, I would
think the getting 18 inch wheels/tires vs. the
19 or 20 inch will make the tire noise a bit
quieter and give a smoother ride. I want a
4matic. Does anyone think the 4matic
would be noisier than that rwd car?

I doubt there is any noise different between AWD and RWD. The tires will determine how quiet they are, not the wheel size.
My 2020 s-class with the AMG 20” wheels definitely create significant NOISE in cabin. The S560 I test drove with 18 wheels was silent,the S560 4matic I purchased with the AMG package is way noisier inside much to my my disappointment.
PS. The 4 matic is a wise choice ar several levels;better handling,less rear tire wear,stability and superior traction on wet roads. No additional noise
The AMG Wheels with the Pirelli tires are outrageously noisy. I will be replacing them ASAP. Shame on Mercedes Benz!
