Is it worth the expense?

Asked by Guru9SY39C Sep 26, 2021 at 09:09 AM about the 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL FWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Found a 94 SL FWD needing lots of work. It needs a front and rear glass, one
tail light ad both headlights plus a transmission. Engine runs but needs tlc. not
sure of the mileage. I will probably have to put $6,000 + into to it to have a daily
driver. Is it worth it? I can purchase it for $500 or less.   i previously owned a 94
SL and it was a fun car to drive. Your comments are welcome.

I doubt it will be worth $6500 when you are done. Not to mention all the expensive little surprises along the way. My rule of thumb is that it is better to buy a good car than to fix up a crapper.
