Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed thermostat and gasket, spark plugs, axle
and ball joint but car still runs hot when in Park or
at a stand still all chemicals are full and the oil light
and check engine light is on could it be the water
pump making it run hot?? And could the oil
sending unit make the oil light stay on?
