Water and smoke from tailpipe

Heard a loud pop looked like smoke from
under hood .car temp gauge was hot
.popped a heater hose last week temp
gauge was hot then .now water and smoke
coming from tail pipe car will start what
could it be

You're pushing your luck continuing to drive this, constantly overheating an engine will ruin it, get it looked at asap. As Ed mentions, you may have a blown head gasket.
