GSX needed to be sold.

Asked by Jul 11, 2016 at 12:19 AM about the 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX Turbo AWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

How much should I sell my 98 Gsx for? It was an
automatic, and now it is a stick shift. The transfer
case was messed up, due to improper towing. It
has about 500 miles, since the engine was rebuilt. I
don't have the time to mess with it anymore, it's
been in hibernation for about 2 years now. So it's a
little rusty from staying out in the sun. Just curious
on how much I can get for it.

A fair price for the vehicle is around $2100 in driving condition and inspected. But with it sitting for 2 years, rust and other issues, see if you can get $1K out of it. Will be hard finding a buyer.

Tom's right, out my way you can hardly give these things away, most people have opted for scrap prices.

Yeah that's the price I've been given before...all that time and money spent just to let it go like that just like that sux lol thanks guys, I appreciate your input.

you can usually never recoup any money you put into a vehicle, just the way it works.
