It is a new starter and torque converter
everything new just won't engage worked
when I first got it can't seem to find the spot
for the starter to sit what are yalls best
ideas cuz I'm out of options I've tried
if the starter is still good..shim and adjust it..did the nose match up even the thickness of the starters mounting pad?
Agree with Kelly,try shimming it,
I recommend that the first time he ask this question.
Lol, firebird, they like getting multible answers, just gives the more to look for,but some times for a DIY,it makes it harder to narrow it down,to the right thing.
