1998 mitsubishi eclipse gs non turbo 2.0 no spark
for some reason my eclipse has no spark. recently I have changed the crank shaft position sensor, cam angle sensor, coil pack, spark plugs, plug wires, ecm and retimed it.. I need help as to why my car will not spark.. I thought ive done everything to get spark but obviously not.. what else could I possible change in order to get my spark?? please and thank you
and also is there a ptu or ignition module on this car im not exactly sure.. ive heard there is no ignition module.. but is there a ptu then? ive come down to a few possibilities but cant find online where it is located or if there is one
By any chance did your timing belt break or jump time before you started changing all the parts? If so do a compression check to check for bent valves. Any showing 0 psi will have bent valves. Just a thought with you saying you had to re time it.
my timing jumped time but I have compression. there is absolutely no spark coming from coil at all.. by any chance would i need to flash my ecm? it turns over just wont fire..
