my 2000 mitsubishi eclipse when started turns on fine but then accelerates on its own then turns off what could be the problem?

I gave the car a tune up new spark plugs new wires new seals for gasket valves when I put everything back
together and started the car it starts fine but accelerates as if i'm giving it gas out of no where on its own then
idles down and shuts off.

Check all of your vacuum lines you have a vacuum leak somewhere.
