is the 2001 mitz mirage LS coupe a car that was built to last or a disposable

Asked by May 31, 2017 at 08:36 PM about the 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage LS Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I wonder is this car above has been in storage 10 yr. + still a good
running car, except for minor things like hoses from sitting.  I would started it
every month and let it run a half hour. While being stored.  !st time every time
it would start right up. now they are saying it won`t pass Ca. smog.  So then
they say I need a valve job or at least a        gasket. Would that dry rot in
storage?  They said there was a tiny pinhole in the coolant line that some
one has spot welded......no never!  So then I was told it was liquid sotter?
You have no idea what it is like for a old women well at any age to see a
mechanic unless you are sleeping with him!   You never know whats true,
usually nothing. So can you advise me?  I`m still waiting for other answers.
