how do I change the ignition switch without breaking the steering column is there a puller they make?

You dont, have to change the cylinder,just the switch,it can be done by removing top and bottom cover on steering column,and the air vent which runs across it,undo wiring harness and replace it,here it is autozone part number LS1085 $36.99.
