Auto Transmision

Asked by Feb 04, 2010 at 05:03 PM about the 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My transmission will not shift, act like it is in neutral.  I hear the solenoids buzz but nothing happens. What could be causing this?

is there any trany fluid in it

Yes, It is on the mark

i would say tranny fluid

This may sound dumb, but check your trans fluid BEFORE you start the car next time. If it's not near halfway cold start, you may have a problem with standing pressure which means you may have an internal leak in the transmission.
