Bad idle after changing valve gaskets

After changing the valve
cover gaskets and putting
everything back together , car
doesn't want to idle correctly
and wants to stall at stop
lights, also intake manifold
seems hotter

I suspect a vacuum leak. Check the gaskets and the PCV.

CHECK THE INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKETS ALSO.

My rear converter is clogged and appears to have happened from the after market part that was replaced for front converter. Dealership is saying I need to replace front converter along with the clogged rear. How come I can't just replace the rear only? 14 Answers

Dealership says the after market catalytic converter appears to be crumbling and is why the rear converter is now clogged.

I have a 2001 Montero XLS, and am having a weird problem with the left side front and rear lights (headlights work fine). When I turn on the lights, none of the left side lights illuminate, while the front and rear right side tail and marker lights correctly illuminate. When I turn on the left turn signal, all of the front and rear left side lights flash (tail, marker, and turn). I should add that the brake lights work correctly on both sides. Also, when the flashers or left turn signal are turned on, after about ten seconds, the left turn signal fuse and emergency flashers fuse blow. Once blown, I have no turn signals, left or right.
