How much would the cheapest turbo cost for a 2002 mitsubishi lancer oz Rally?
man don't do it. the cheap way now, will be the expensive way later. it's not just a turbo you bolt on. for every bit of air that a turbo forces into the motor, there has to be an equal to or greater than amount of air coming out the exhaust. you need an intercooler, a cold air intake, the colder the air coming in, the more oxygen the motor receives. the hotter the air coming in there will be less oxygen. Since turbos are considered forced induction, these are all things you need to consider. If I were you I would consider finding a junked evo and taking the parts you need that way. then tweak from there. Also, I'm not familiar with that old of a model but check to see if the car has an ecu. that is the computer that controls the amount of air is coming out and being mixed with fuel. Without being able to tune the car, you will have a catastrophic failure.
