Just had bank 1 converter replaced on 2002 eclipse gt 3.0. Replaced o2 sensors prior to that now have a rough idle. Any ideas?
Did they warm up the new converter before you drove your Mitsubishi the first time after the installation? If not the "brick" inside the converter may have shifted causing the exhaust system to be partially blocked. Is this a universal converter or a direct fit converter? If universal is it installed backwards? Exhaust flow direction matters with a catalytic converter. Any other symptoms? Loss of power or running hot? Is your check engine light or service engine soon light on? HTH. -Jim
