Why does it not start all the time??

Asked by April Jan 26, 2020 at 02:35 PM about the 2001 Mercury Sable LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Place key into ignition .. turn and doesnt start.  
I have all power to everything.. can hear the fuel
pump when i turn the key.. could i have an ignition
switch going out? Or possibly something else?  
This isnt happening all the time.. just
periodic..some days my car works fine..
