Hi, I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. I need a new oxygen sensor, they said its Base 1 Sensor 2. I'm trying to buy the part online, but I have no clue what fits, what size I need or anything. Here are some ones I was looking at, does anyone know if these will fit, or what will fit?
I think you mean Bank 1 sensor 2. I think bank 1 refers to the the side where the #1 cylinder is. So that means you need the rear sensor after the cat I guess. So look for a Bosch part number 13801 or similar.
Awesome, thank you so much. I had one more question, is this something that I can replace myself, or do I need to have a specialist do it? Thanks you, David
You can do it yourself it you can reach it. For an oem style on all you need is some o2 friendly anti-seize, a o2 sensor socket, and a ratchet. Just unplug and remove the old one then install the new one.
there is a gray connector in front of the 02 sensor on the front I saw it was taped up when I un taped it there was a blue wire from the connector that was hook to any thing there were 2 white n 2 black wires connected. then from the other end there is a light bluesih gray wire that was also in the bunch that wasn't connected either ..do theres two wires need to connect?
