what do these codes mean

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car is starting to raddle and when at a
stop light it shakes so bad feels like wants
to take off with out me.. My gas is going
down real fast to and car feels like its
bogging out...got it diagnosed and the codes
that came up are po171 bank  1 to lean and
po170 cylinder 1 misfire. So what is it these
codes mean?  Is it my spark plugs?  Please
help

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Possibly the intake manifold gasket is leaking and causing the number 1 cylinder to get too much air and misfire. HTH. -Jim
