Overheating after 10 minutes of driving

Try bleeding system like this. Remove cap from overflow tank fill with antifreeze to full mark leave cap off and start vehicle and let idle level in tank will start to rise this is normal once thermostat starts to open level in tank will drop add more antifreeze to full mark then put cap back.

I dont have an answer but a similar problem. Same vehicle keeps overheating we've replaced radiator thermostat and bleed the lines still seems to be overheating. What else could it be?

You need a heater core

Having the same problem with my 04. Guess I'll look into the heater core...

check the water level in the cross tube that runs on top of the engine right behind the fan. if your 1/4 socket wrench wont crack it open, get the some vice grips on the edge of the cap. if there is no water in that tube, it could overheat... thats actually the best place to add coolant. run it 5 mins,, let it cool and check again, fill more if needed to get all the air out.

Thanks for the advice. I was able to bleed the system two times and it’s working properly. Try bleeding it, add enough coolant after the first bleed. Add the coolant directly into the bleed plug hole. After adding the coolant keep the engine running for 5 minutes at 2,500 rpms. Turn it off, wait for cooling off, refill the bleed plug area. It should work. Good luck.
