Whats the next service I need ?

Asked by Feb 26, 2017 at 09:26 AM about the 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I read the answer you gave to Coleen. It was very helpful. I took my car in to a Mitsubishi dealer for a tune up at 60,000 miles & it cost me $850.00. Now tell me the truth did I get rip off ? Also I now have 99,450 miles & the car is running just fine but what should be the next service maintenance I should have done to my car ?

Dealer service departments usually charge more for services. Did you get ripped off? Hard to say without looking at the receipt as to what was actually done. If your keeping the vehicle and it's running fine now, (at around 100K) I would have the spark plug changed out, and all fluids changed. Coolant, transmission and oil. replace filters, like air, fuel. You might want to try and find another decent mechanic in the area vs the dealer to save some $$$.
