Location to change o2 sensor bank 2 on 1998 Taurus SE Wagon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

U engine code, 3.0L, v6. I need to replace my o2 sensor after the cat but
would really like a vid or at least pics so I know I'm doing it right. I know I
need the special wrench tool and to be careful of the wires and the tip of the
new one so as to not mess it up. My motto is better safe then sorry. Also,
what is the best lube to use to be able to access the sensor later down the
road if need be? Can someone please help me?

Yes it does and Ty but I need to confirm where the sensor is exactly and instructional pics or vids to insure I'm doing it right. Again it's the bank 2 downstreaming, after the catalytic converter.

this picture is from 2003 ford taurus--this is best that I could find for ya.. check your local auto parts store (autozone), they should have a computer with Mitchell-On-Demand, it shows diagrams, locations and get a print out (it's free)

Check the white box under the dash, pull ash tray out and it a little tight but doable in the box is a clock gear that could be striped. Check the heater arm that opens and closes and regulates the temp you can start car let it warm up turn temp button back and forth to see that it is opening and closing. I think this will take care of your issues. If not flush the heater both ways with hot water and motor craft radiator cleaner.
