Asked by Mar 20, 2014 at 07:32 PM about the 1994 Mercury Capri 2 Dr STD Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have fuel from FP, but iinjectors aren't firing. Should I replace the ECM or is there
anything else to check first??

Check for power to the injectors, you may have a blown power main fuse. If you have power then check for an injector trigger signal, that will be a negative pulse at the injectors. If you don't have a trigger signal then the next thing is to have the codes pulled, but you will need someone that can do a Ford OBD 1 unit.
