Need new fuel tank and fuel filler neck for 1999 mercury sable.

1999 mercury sable.  Need exact p/n to order fuel tank and fuel filler neck from
Rock Auto.  If I order my own parts, mechanic will repair for 400 dollars.  If
mechanic orders parts price goes up by 588 dollars.  Trying to get job done for
lowest price.  Then need  ny state inspection.  Had smoke test done small leak in
fuel tank and also in fuel filler neck.  Please help with parts numbers.  If I buy
them only about 200 plus.  Big savings.  Thank you.

You shouldn't need the part numbers to order from Rock Auto. Just select the make, model, year and select the parts. Looks like you need to know if it's a 16 or 18 gallon tank and the emission system. That information will be on the RPO sticker that's on the vehicle. Hope that helps! Jim
