Windows not working

Asked by May 12, 2016 at 08:46 AM about the 1999 Mercury Mountaineer 4 Dr STD AWD SUV

Question type: General

I do not have a manual for my car and my
windows and interior lights went after I
changed one of my dome lights.  I have
asked a couple of people on what they
thought it was and they told me its more
than likely a fuse. Hiw could I find the right
one to change? Thank you. Gloria

A test light is one way, some people will remove the fuses one at a time and use an ohm meter to check them and that works too.

Yeah, you likely blew a fuse related to the interior electronics-- Fords can be touchly like that!

Do u know if they charge to check the fuses?

The dealer will likely charge you a diagnostic fee
