my Cougar has no heat
I have a 1999 Mercury Cougar with the 2.5 v6. It has no heat. The air conditioning works perfectly. it doesnt over heat, Ive replaced the thermostat, upper radiator hose, lower heater hose and done a coolant flush....What else could it be?
With car at operating temp. Feel the hoses going to the heater core. (back of engine comp against firewall). Are both hot? Is neither hot? Is only one hot? Post back what you find and I can explain what it means.
If you haven't figured it out yet, there is air in your heater core. Pressurize your reservoir with an air compressor
