Will any 3.3L engine block interchange with the 3.3L engine block of a 2000 mercury villager sport?

Asked by Mar 28, 2016 at 03:04 PM about the 2000 Mercury Villager 4 Dr Sport Passenger Van

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm trying to figure out if I can use any 3.3L engine block to replace
the cracked block in my 2000 mercury villager, which is a 3.3L
engine.

The Mercury Villager is basically a Nissan Quest with Mercury stickers. A Nissan or Ford 3.3 will work. Try to get the same year, this will ensure that all the wire harnesses are the same.

My apologies, not a Ford 3.3, Mercury is what I meant.
