not getting gas is their a fuel sensor

i have a ford mercury sable i checked fuel shut off in trunk its good fuel filter is good fuel pump not pumping is their a fuel relay or sensor i can change

Turn key on. Get under it and hit the center of the gas tank with a hammer.If it kicks on replace the pump.

there is a relay and a fuse to the circuit , you can try that too

99 times out of 100, it's the fuel pump module.
