2001 Mercury Cougar Trani leak into passanger front wheel drive. Can anyone tell me what needs to be done to fix this car. and an esimated price.
sounds like one of the coolant lines to radiator has come undone...get someone to get under there and tighten 'er up!
hey, I know you! :)
$75/hour....three minute job, probably a gimme depending on which skirt you wear.
hey! lol. i am thinking of buying a car with this problem but i want to make sure its cheao to get done first. lol..
and it leaks into the front wheel well. not drive oops
Yah, have a monkey go under there and tighten the plumbing with a 1/2 line wrench--easy...a woman such as yourself could put your hair up pinned in a hat and grab a 1/2 line wrench and tighten ahoy!.....hope....could be something worse like an abrasion puncture from running over a bicycle or something sharp-
You know how to run the engine till warm and check the stick to have fluid between the two marks or in the hatched zone on some models-add thru the dipstick tube with a groovy pointy filler funnel- (couple o' bux)
can always cut the line with a hacksaw, and mend with two clamps and a piece of tranny fluid friendly rubber hose-
Have your mechanic give you a estimate to replace the entire rusted transmission lines during the pre-buying inspection. Take that amount and any other discovered repair estimates off the asking price.
