Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have a 2002 Mercury Cougar in
great condition. Has all new fluids,
heater core, spark plugs and
thermostat. I bought it for two grand,
and was wondering how much it
would be worth with a bad tranny?

I looked it up and your car is worth around $2000-$2500 with a working transmission. A rebuild transmission usually cost around $2000 or more. It would be tough finding someone to buy it except for parts.
