I have a1999 Mercury Sable GS I have had it for 5 year and I put over 27500 miles on the first motor. I bought another motor with 40,000 miles and I am willing to bet this car will last me at least another 5 years.

The biggest difference is that the LS has the 24 valve v6, meaning more power but same gas mileage. 24 valve v6 Duratec. LS. Some mazdas have that engine.
