The man replace the starter on a 2004
Mercury Mountaineer 4.0 I started
driving this morning in the brakes too
hard for me to put on brakes

There should be no relationship between the starter and the brakes but you should check your brake fluid level and make sure the vacuum hose is still hooked up to the booster. Since you just had it worked on you may want to take it back to the mechanic.

My battery light in my system light came on in my tires for my tires and my wills luck as I turn but my car still comes on when I cut it on and off what's wrong
