i have a 2005 sable i would like to know why this car was built so as not to be able to have the front end aligned without a lot of work performed on it

i was told they would have to change some mounts, cut, and replace the
mounts so they the work could be done  i have never heard of anything like
this  all i have to say if it's true it took a real dumb ass to design a vehicle like
this
