Dad had a problem like this on a Mazda truck. Fuel filter solved it.

There could be dirt in your petrol tank being sucked up to the small filter on the outflow within the tank when driving. When starting up again it has settled back somewhere and will gradually move to the outflow again. Either that or dirt in the fuel line which will clog under pressure.
