Throw out bearing

Asked by May 31, 2016 at 12:51 AM about the 1998 Ford Ranger XL Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It shifts into gear but when I have the clutch in and
a neutral it grinds sometimes so I think it's a throw
out bearing any ideas

Throw out bearing. or possibly input shaft bearing not as likely. Mileage is a BIG clue. Unless the clutch was changed recently.
