I have a 1998 mustang gt, I cannot turn the key to the off position preventing me from removing the key from the ignition cylinder. What can I do to repair the problem?

Cannot remove key from ignition cylinder, thought
that was the problem. Purchased new cylinder and
installed it, same problem. Car starts and can be
turned off however unable to remove the key. Lost
with no direction to go, HELP!

Might be your ignition switch which is a little lower on the steering column. The problem is the grease that ford puts in that switch hardens and caused the wafers to hang up.
