i have a 98 mustang V6 automatic and its heating up and smoking and i cant figure out whats wrong with it
okay so i have a 1998 ford mustang V6 automatic. i out water in the radiator and it starts
smoking by the engine. i cant figure out if it could be the radiator hose or if its a gasket..
thats just problem one. my second problem is when i put it in gear and start moving it
starts clucking... so i think it might be from a pulley... if anyone can help me out please !
Pressure test the cooling system to locate the leak to start with. The clunking noise is coming from where? Pulleys don't clunk.
okay. and i dont know where the clunking noise is coming from. i just know when i move it out of gear and im driving it it starts making a clucking noise.
Does the clunking noise increase in speed as you accelerate?
yes it does.
Inspect the drive shaft before you drive it anymore.
For the clunking noise you should also make sure the transmission fluid was changed recently and is full.
Low fluid would not make or be the cause of an external clunking noise.
