Death or stroke while be for transaction; is wife obigated to complete the purchase?
Early next week I am having a slightly risky medical procedure with a one day recovery. If I died or have a stroke after my bid but before the transaction is completed I my wife (who would co-owner) be obligated or could cancel the purchase?
Double check with an attorney.
Depends on who made the purchase. If it's you alone, no dealer would hold you or your heirs to it and would return you deposit. If joint, no dealer would hold your wife to it either, under the stress of this circumstance. With the Tesla 3, however, the smart thing might be to advertise your purchase contract for sale; you might even make a buck. Not many people are aware "right now" how bad this car really is. Magazines have refused to review it simply because it's stopping distance is so long. Alternatively, buy the car and sell it for a profit.
