I have a 1998 Ford Mustang GT convertible.
I am going bonkers trying to figure out why my headlights flicker so bad , day and night! I
had to change out my alternator and noticed there is two different gauge wiring going to
the alternator. Could this cause the flickering? The only time they don't flicker is when I
have it in park and still idling. Open to any suggestion :)
Sounds like you need to check the electrical connection directly at the back of the lamps themselves, as well as ensuring the lamp bulb is sufficiently secured to the female socket it sit in. flickering usually is indicative of a loose connection.
So could the two different gauge wiring cause the flickering?
possibly, a volt meter could answer that question quick.
I can handle that. So, once I test the wires and I rule them in or out. Is there anything else I should be looking for? or at?
my initial advice. somethings loose somwhere
