does my 2000 mazda millenia have a computer chip in the ignition key

i have been told that my car's keys have a comuter chip in them and without it ..it wll not start... its a 2000 mazda millenia

yes it does and the keys are special order so keep it safe if you try to start it with out the key it will not start the key is part of the anti theft system.
