Location of speed sensor on 02 Mazda Tribute 3.0L, AWD, automatic
The wheel speed sensor is located behind the brake rotor on each wheel just above the tone ring.
I need the one for speedometer location thanks
Your speedometer is controlled by your PCM/EBCM. It takes the information from the WSS( wheel speed sensors) and then tells your instrument cluster how fast you are going. There is a Turbine shaft speed sensor that controls the output of the PTU(power transfer unit), it is an AWD thing. If you are not getting a reading on how fast you are going, you will be replacing a Cluster, or a GEM(general electronic module).
