Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 Mazda 6 2.3L . One day I was driving
home and about .5 miles away my car just decided
to die on me.  It's an auto. It turns over and has a
split second of some type of fire . I've replaced the
battery. I've replaced the crank sensor and cam
sensor along with a new coil pack. Figured it
wasn't getting spark at first so replaced all that and
still nothing but when you turn the car over now it
still has a split second of some type of fire but still
does not start just cranks. Kinda sounds like it has
no compression.  I checked the timing and I can't
find no colored links on the timing chain to be able
to tell if it's in time I can't even find any marks
honestly. I'm a mechanic with 11+ years
experience and so far I can't figure this out .
Hopefully one of you guys can't help figure this out
??.
