upper and lower trailing arms

Asked by Apr 06, 2014 at 12:42 PM about the 1998 Ford Expedition 4 Dr XLT 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

while driving my drive shaft fell off due to the lower trailing arm breaking in half. Replaced upper and lower trailing arms on both sides and put drive shaft back on now it isn't shifting properly

I can only guess that when the driveshaft fell out there might have been some damage to the trans, have it diagnosed by a reputable trans shop in your area.
