Replaced a temperature sensor on 2001 lincoln navigator and now car wont start and sensors go crazy when trying to start the vehicle. Any advice?

I saw something about setting the sensor to the right pounds but I dont see why that
would make the car not start

there are several temp.sensors in that car???

oh no i didnt know that, so if i put the old one back in do you think it will work?

Reverse what you did and see if it will start.
