How do I fix my heat I worked fine last night but now nothing

So I have a 02 V8 and when I turn my heat on the
lights pop on and wont shut off when I turn my
heat of it goes to normal heat is blowing hot air
but it was lastnight no problem I'm kinda lost

sounds like the selector switch , tap on it see if that helps ,, if you can get to it spray it with electrical cleaner
