Help my 1998 ford ecsort is leaking anti freeze

Asked by Feb 21, 2014 at 11:15 AM about the 1998 Ford Escort 2 Dr ZX2 Cool Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My check coolant light came on so I pulled over to get anti freeze when I put it in I notice
it leaked right back out under the radiator. I took it to a mechanic and they said it was the
heater core hose. But the part was hard to find could this cause anti freeze to
leakndirectly under the radiator

The fluid might have migrated along the hose to the area under the radiator. Hard to say without inspecting where the leak is. I'll have to take the mechanics word.
