Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does anyone know how to temporarily deactivate the TPMS sensor light on the
dash for when rims don't have the pressure sensors? For winter rims for
example. My car is a Fusion Energi. Thanks.

Not 100% sure but It may be needed an Advanced Scan Tool to de-active de TPMS at the PCM. I DO NOT recommend to do it. Direct or Indirect TPMS warns the driver that one or more tires are significantly under-inflated, possibly creating unsafe driving conditions. It works along with the ABS sensors, and it may trigger or cause the (Engine Power Is Reduced) condition. thanks.

You need to have active sensors in all four wheels for the system to work properly. Having 2 tires without sensors will just confuse the computer and probably will cause other dash lights to come on
