Question type: Maintenance & Repair

both of the rear windows have stopped working, i have checked the fuse and
the wiring and it all seems good, my problem is that the windows are stuck in
the up position and i need to get them down to check and maybe replace the
motor or can i do this with them in the up position

Actually if you plan on pulling door panels off, inside, they are better off up. If you have trouble, for one thing it's better to have them stuck up than down. And the glass will not be in the way of getting to regulators

But did they both stop working at the same time? Or one then the other later? Both at the same time would be odd for the regulators/motors to fail. And they don't work from switch on each door and drivers controls also?

Paul, this is unlikely to help but I have looked everywhere, Kia forums, every book available that they don't ask for credit card, and am stumped. Sorry 'bout that. But click for a full screen image, and maybe, just maybe, it will show something
