2002 Kia spectra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My driver side door won't stay closed. I found
the problem when I went and turned a corner
and the door flew open.  I've tryed shutting it
hard and locking it to keep it closed.  The door
just pushes or pulls right open.

Sounds like the lock mechanism may be stuck in the open position. Spray WD40 In there, and play with the handle as you spary it in. If that works then get some white grease and put it all over that latch assembly and some on the latch on the center pillow..
