Payload capacity information

I have a 2018 dodge 2500 6.7 Cummins with the
puck system and I bought it used. My question is
can the truck have a bigger payload to carry a
goose trailer or fifth wheel camper than why the
sticker says on it? I have talked to many buddies
who have owned several dodges. They say it can
do it easily even while over the sticker numbers.

Manufacturer ratings are pretty conservative. If you upgrade cooling and lubrication for the drivetrain you can probably safely exceed the weight rating. Conceivably you could run afoul of the law if they decide to put your rig on a scale.
