will blowing water through air ducks cause damage?

have dead mouse in air duck can not locate, smells  getting worst

Yes it can cause damage, your best bet is compressed air with a long flex tube. I had a Ford van that had the same problem, never could get the mouse out, so I just parked it with the windows cracked just a bit in the sun for about 2 weeks, the heat baked the smell out and from then on no problem, might think about that, the sun's heat is still free.
